Adding and Changing Supervisors and Committee members

How to add and subtract supervisors and committee members from a student’s record

💡
Be aware that there is a Department setting (Set up a Department) for whether Students are able to add to and change their committee. If Students don’t see Supervisor and Committee on their Profile page, this setting is off.
 

Changes to the supervisor and committee are made on the Student’s Profile page.

Students access this page from the little person icon in the header.

Administrators access the Student profiles from the Profile button on the right side of the Student’s row in the People Dashboard.

 

Once you’re in the Student Profile, adding and removing supervisor and committee members is straightforward, on the left side of the page.

Faculty will receive an email notification when they are added as a supervisor or committee member.
